Introduction for MZ-880 Bench-top POF Loss Tester
1,Introducing
MZ-880 POF Loss Tester (Plastic Optical Fiber Loss Tester) integrates visible laser source with short wavelength optical fiber power meter. It is used to test insertion loss for POF, power fiber etc. We use large area detector and design active optic fiber interface, which is easy to clean and to change fiber adapter according to your requirements.

2,Introducing
(1),Press the “UNIT” key to select “dB”.
(2),Press the “REF” key to clear the insertion loss.
(3),Press the "set" key to enter the setting state.
Press "up" and "down" to select the selected item, and press "OK" to enter the selected item setting interface. Press "ESC" to exit the setting interface.
correction value: press the "up" and "down" keys to modify the data, and press the ">" key to select the data. The data modification range is 9.99db to -9.99db. Press the "OK" key to confirm the modification, and the data is saved. press "ESC" to exit the setting.
Display accuracy: Press the"up" and "down" keys to modify the data. Press "OK" to confirm the modification. and press "ESC" to exit the setting.
Sampling rate: Press "up" and "down" to modify the data, press "OK" to confirm the modification, and press "Cancel" to exit the setting. Sampling rate refers to the average time of sampling data, which can be set as 10ms, 20ms, 100ms and 200ms.
3,test method
(1) Select the corresponding standard fiber cable. If the Untested fiber cable is 4501, select the standard optical fiber cable of FC-4501; If the Untested fiber cable is Toslink, select the standard optical fiber cable of FC-Toslink.
4,Maintenance
(1)Start the machine stably and wait for 5 minutes for measurement.
(2)The end face of optical fiber is easy to be damaged,
(3)Do not touch the optical power probe with hard objects
